How Soldiers Ran Away From Terrorists In Adamawa

Boko Haram militants are said to have attacked Mubi inAdamawa State on Wednesday, October 29, causing a whole battalion of soldiers to flee the area.

The terrorists invaded the town and went on a rampage looting the army barracks, freeing prisoners from jail and causing residents to run for their lives, AP reports.

Ahmad Garba, a resident of the town, which is home to Chief of defense staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, said:

"We are scampering for our lives," "They attacked the military barracks, police stations and the prison. As I am talking with you now, thousands of people have deserted Mubi and neighboring towns, some heading toward Cameroon republic as others headed"
